Explorer Posts and Venturing Crews are programs of the Boy Scouts of America. They are co-ed divisions for youth from 14-21. After 21, members can either quit or become advisors. Venturing grew out of Exploring, because Exploring was intended to be career oriented, while Venturing is the high adventure, outdoors, nature oriented program. It's fun! Like Boy Scouts, they have advancement programs (like badges) and are community service oriented as well. At least in theory.
