"Unusually Large Baby Born" is one of those
freeze frame jokes that buzzes by
animated sitcoms from time to time, particularly shows in which one of the main characters is rather large in size. On
The Simpsons the headline "Unusually Large Baby Born" is seen when
Homer Simpson was looking at a newspaper archive and came across the front page of the
Springfield Shopper newspaper from the day he was born. Sure enough, he's the unusually large baby in the photo underneath the headline. On
Family Guy we see that the Griffin family has a photograph of a very bedraggled
Lois Griffin after giving birth to her very large son,
Chris Griffin. A similar caption graces the photo. In fact, a number of the production staff at
Family Guy claim to have
xeroxed copies of this animated photo on their own refrigerators.
