Two Tickets to Paradise

In the grocery store at the foot of the hill that's put all the local competition in radius out of business with it's bitching new sound system, a song was playing, and for a few agonizing seconds I froze in time and wanted to find the store's office and pull the plug on their piped music machine and hang myself with it. It was a time of lost baby teeth tooth ache that I couldn't afford and ingeniously kited checks to pay hundreds of dollars of dentist bills that all bounced with bank fees causing stress of being evicted thrown out on the street losing my baby and a jeck-off's offer to help by raping me kind of pain . I was painting my angel back then and never had the chance to pack my bags and go to paradise.

The song Two Tickets to Paradise released as a single in 1978 by Eddie Money, reached #22 on the Billboard charts.
