The Tuscarora Nation was the most recently added nation to the Iroquois Confederacy. They were driven out of North Carolina by Colonial Settlers and relocated to Niagra County north of Buffalo New York. They are one of the three "Younger Brothers" of the Iroquois Confederacy, the others being the Cayugas and the Oneidas. The Tuscaroras lost some of their Reservation to the creation of a Public Works Reservoir. It is estimated that there are roughly one thousand Tuscaroras living on their reservaiton today; in the 18th century they had nearly 1800 Warriors.
