In the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, the True Power is a source of power that comes directly from the Dark One rather than the True Source as does saidin and saidar. The ability to channel using the True Power has only ever been granted to thirty people according to Moghedien, among which are the Forsaken we assume. Use of the True Power is extremely addictive and dangerous, and after continual use black flecks called saa begin to appear in the user's eyes, with more and more appearing as they continue to draw upon it. |
