True Object Orientation

created by Cloth

(idea) by Cloth (7.7 y) (print)   ?   (I like it!) 1 C! Sat May 13 2000 at 20:10:20

A mythical beast claimed to have been seen by Eiffel programmers (the both of them) and some project managers, as in: "Our project is truly object oriented". What does that mean really? The closest approximation to a "true object oriented" project that I can think of would have to have everything declared private, and all objects can polymorph into a Power Ranger. All classes inherit all other classes, virtually. Everything should be put in namespaces and the only way to actually run a function would be to instantiate an object that does something in the constructor. Only it really shouldn't have any code in there. Code is for, ugh, functions. Functions do stuff! Objects just sit there and look pretty.

Hey, I wrote a program with goto once.
