Darkly humorous science fiction novel by James Morrow. While it is somewhat dated (it's about the cold war), its ethical stance remains relevant. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever considered the ethical implications of nuclear weapons.

Features the MAD Hatter (MAD as in Mutually Assured Destruction), the MARCH Hare (MARCH as in some silly military acronym), various other members of the US military, giant Teratorns and George Paxton as the everyman.
