Watching people run for their life from the law (or attacked by maniacs in the movie) is much more entertaining than having them answer trivia.

An extra bonus is that the losers, being dead, are unable to make talkshow appearances.

The ultimate game show would be a modification of Big Brother. 10 players would be placed in a habitat for a year, with absolutely no contact with the outside world.

The dwelling would be underground, so nobody could send them messages with a bullhorn, or trailed behind an airplane.

The role of the host would be only to narrate events. He, or she, would have no contact with the contestants.

There would be no voting out of contestants, if a contestant can't take it anymore, they're free to leave. The last to leave would get the prize money, or, if multiple contestants remain at the end, the prize would be split between them.

As opposed to Big Brother, contestants would be left alone. No contact with the host, no contact with the outside world. No reward challenges or anything of the sort. Total isolation for as long as they can stand it.

The media once tried to justify the popularity of Big Brother, saying people wanted to see how others would react to the isolation. From this statement, I realized it would be much more stimulating if the contestants were truly isolated. And so, came up with this idea. Now that would be a show for me.

But until people get over the inhumane aspect of isolating people underground purely for the entertainment of others, I'll just have to settle for Junkyard Wars.
