The String Cheese Incident is a jamband from Colorado.
Considered one of the hottest groups touring these days, the SCI have a devout fan-base of neo-hippies.
Like The Grateful Dead before them they extract their particular blend of sound from bluegrass, jazz, Americana, and rock and roll roots.
SCI has its own ticketing agency and travel agency called Madison House Agency as well in order to help fans to the shows.
Since Phish is on hiatus SCI is expected to become the NEXT BIG THING out there in the jamband scene. Some argue they are allready there.
