| Basic course on legal theory and practice. A survey course on legal problems in the school setting. Designed for Master's Degree candidates or candidates seeking Arizona State Administrative Certification. Taught by Dr. Phillip Corkill for Northern Arizona University's department of Education Administration in February 1991.
Course Objectives:
To provides students with a knowledgeable acquaintanceship with school law and trends in school law.
To provide students with an understanding of the basic principles and concepts of school law.
To acquaint students with the laws of Arizona as they apply to school so they:
a. will have a basic understanding of school legilation
b. will have an appreciation for the law
c. will be more effective in their classroom and school districts.
