| Incidentally, there are a number of spiritual organizations that will refer to themselves as 'Family' for lack of a better way to describe their particular organization.
These particular organizations may be cults, organized religions, "clubs", or any other number of permutations on that theme.
Often times these 'families' are patriarchal in organization, with a Father leading, teaching, or guiding his "Children".
In a worst case scenario, a Family is a destructive, brain-washing devised by an egomaniac on a power-trip; and in the best case scenario, a Family can be leveraged to help one on the path to enlightenment. |
