It seems that any new dell comes with windows 98 pre-installed. Thats fine. Does this system come with the windows 98 Cd? No. It comes with a Dell Recovery CD, which makes the process of reinstalling windows a pain in the arse. And it doesn't just install windows! It reinstalls all of Dell's useless crap (Learn my Dell PC, aol, att netserver, Dellnet, etc, etc). The CD is purple, in case you were interested in that sort of thing. Oh, and its a "boot CD". |
