A very strange stone i came across at vons the other day. Apparently named so because of the violent swirls and turbulant-appearing luminescence. It visually appears at various times to be related to tiger-eye, hematite, possibly moonstone, although i believe it is chemically related to none of these. It's a swirl of colors, reds blues yellows greens blacks silvers and grays. It's semi-precious, aka a couple bucks for a nice piece, but apparently relatively uncommon. Properties are unknown, have never managed to find reference to it. Perhaps it exists under another name.
