Hitachi's series of low-power RISC microprocessors/microcontrollers, primarily meant for the embedded market. The original SuperH (aka SH1) was a 32-bit CPU with 16-bit instructions (sort of like a reverse ARM Thumb). Latest, most powerful and famous version is the fully 32-bit (instructions and bus) SH4, currently used in several WinCE devices and the Sega Dreamcast video game console.

The Sega Saturn used two SH2s @ 28 MHz. I don't know why they didn't use a single SH2 @ 56 MHz; programmers said that all the processors in the Saturn (I believe there were seven) made it hard to program.
