Stop The Violins

A form of bumper sticker/T-shirt humor. It a pun upon the "Stop the Violence" crowd of raving-maniac protesters.

Oddly enough, it is supposed to be funny in its own right, however, when I wore the aformentioned T-shirt, I got comments on it, not because people thought it was witty, but that they hated violins.

I just don't get it...

Anyway, as sold by the Wireless catalog (Friends of Minnesota Public Radio), this wit in T-shirt form was of the same design as the Visualize Whirled Peas shirt. There are uncountable witty t-shirt sayings, but these two are interesting in that they were a pair of the same design.
