Psychedelic funky techno trance music from Finland. Exogenic Records explains Squaremeat: Squaremeat is the joint project of Pepe Kosminen and Françoise Faggott. Wave Soup is the second album from these sonic wizards, their well-received debut album Squarebeat was released on Nephilim in 1999. Pepe Kosminen has previously been releasing music with O*Men and Fluoro Fantasy, Midiliitto on Blue Room, Exogenic and numerous other labels. Françoise Faggott has as a member of Texas Faggott and Midiliitto released music on Psy-Harmonics, Exogenic and other labels. Both have played numerous live gigs in Germany, Holland, Denmark, Russia, Goa and further. Pepe and Françoise are pioneers of the Finnish trance sound both as musicians and DJs and have considerable experience in making and Djing electronic sounds. Wave Soup reflects this background, it is an album made with the DJ and especially the people on the dancefloor in mind.
