Southwest Missouri state is one of many colleges in Springfield, Missouri. There are over 150 majors to choose from. The current enrollment is around 18,500. The school is known for its premed and theater and dance.
The campus network has to be the only downside to the school. The campus buildings are on a separate part of the network from the residence halls. The residence hall network is controled by ResNet. Resnet has no idea to control a network. The 45megabit/s connection gets speeds around that of a 33.6 modem. other larger schools have a smaller connection and still manage to get 50x the speed. |
