Anonymous hymn based on the prayer Anima Christi, and sung to a tune of that name. The work is a favourite of high-church Anglican churches and Roman Catholic schools, and is often used during the distribution of holy Communion.
Soul of my saviour, sanctify my breast,
Body of Christ, be thou my saving guest,
Blood of my saviour, bathe me in thy tide,
Wash me with water flowing from thy side.
Strength and protection may thy passion be,
