It was my senior year of high school, and I was at Model UN as the North Korean delegate to the International Atomic Energy Agency. As I wrote in my Model UN writeup, I was having fun manipulating everything, and in general, causing chaos.
In Model UN, like the real UN, the delegates are able to pass notes. Abruptly, I get a note from the delegate for Japan on the same committee as I:
To: N. Korea
From: Japan
Message: You'd make a good Satan. You're a pretty fast, smooth talker. That's pretty good in my book. Although on this point I don't agree w/you, you're doing good.
I looked up at her and she smiled. I still have the note. It's one of my most prized possessions. The nifty part is that this note seems to mean I'd make a good Adversary. |
