In this dream, there is only you

waiting patiently hands folded
songbirds above you and rose petals below your feet.
On the edge of the garden the sun sets.
A pink hue touches the white fence, a sundial
and the side of your face
~ warm reflection.
It would be surreal
had I not seen it with my own eyes
