hollow
shell
eat
ing my way of out life
from the inside
gnash
ing my teeth on my own
ugliness
and
savor
ing the taste of a slow death
but now that I've hit
bone
I look up with wet eyes
as if to say
"Is this all? I don't think
I've reached the
main course
..."
But was I really that
substantial
a dish to begin with,
underneath the lovely
meat
?
