| Sage Francis is an emcee/spoken word poet from Rhode Island. He is a member of The Secret Service, Non-Prophets, and is also affiliated with the San Fransico Bay area's Anticon Records. He has been rhyming for a very long time (he was about 8 or 9 years old, when he started, apparently), and is also a decent breakdancer ( I saw him spin on his head!) and a not-too-shabby DJ to boot! He has a number of independent releases, including Sick of Waiting, Still Sick ... Urine Trouble, and Still Sick of Waiting Tables. He's also released some Non-Prophets and solo material on vinyl. His first full length solo album, Personal Journals, is set to be released on April 15, 2002, even though some idiots have already leaked it all over the internet. |
