The Progress Fizz Keeper is the coolest invention in the modern kitchen. The purpose of the fizz keeper is to keep fizzy drinks, ummm, fizzy.
It is essentially a small hand-operated pump combined with a non-return valve. This clever contraption allows you to pump air into a standard plastic bottle, increasing the pressure and slowing the inevitible process of the drink going flat.
