| A Classic German All Day Bar
The Petersberger Hof is the classic German All Day bar. In the middle of the relaxed but stylish urban quarter of Klettenberg in Cologne, this is the perfect all day, all night hangout. Between beautifully restored Art Deco buildings it features a gorgeous beer garden, friendly (if sometimes unconventional) service, Sion Koelsch and Erdinger on tap and an excellent menu which will set you back at about 20 Euros for 3 courses.
The audience is ecclectic, ranging from students, professionals, popstars, germany's most famous comedian or local celebrities.
The atmosphere is relaxed, nobody bothers anybody else, and the music oozes cool.
Opening at 11:00, closing at 02:00, a classic sunday in Klettenberg would be a late lunch at the Petersberger Hof outside, which would extend into the late afternoon, ending at around 23:00, slightly frazzled.
I've been coming here for over 10 years now when I'm in Cologne, and there wasn't one evening when I didn't leave with a smile.
