| Veteran British news broadcaster Peter Snow began his career in 1962 with ITN. His unbounded enthusiasm for politics and the political process meant that he rapidly became the voice of election analysis in the UK, bringing knowledge of the science of psephology to general attention.
For 18 years he presented the BBC's flagship news analysis programme, Newsnight, as well as receiving awards for his on-the-spot reporting from Kuwait during the Gulf War. In 1997 he moved over to popular science programme Tomorrow's World to which he applied his distinctive style along with luscious co-presenter Philippa Forrester.
