In 1986 Paulo Coelho walked along the Road of Santiago, an ancient Spanish pilgrimage. He describes this experience in The Pilgrimage (1987). The following year, he published his second book (and probably most famous): The Alchemist.
Other titles include Brida (1990), The Valkyries (1992), Maktub (1994), a compilation of his daily column, By The River Piedra I Sat Down & Wept (1994), The Fifth Mountain (1996), The Manual of the Warrior of the Light (1997), and most recently Veronika decides to die (1998). |
