The Page of Cool through the month of May reflected many great stories told by E2 users. There was also a revered writer's death, a charitable appeal, a tool for Big Brother, and plans for a big party in the middle of nowhere.
In the middle of the month, the death of Douglas Adams brought many tributes and memories of his works. A definitive biography was composed, and the institution of a new holiday was noted. Adam's imaginitive writings are influencial on E2 users, not just because of the similarity between his h2g2 and this communal database, but also because his brand of humour is the standard we aspire to.
Soon afterwards, many adjustments to E2 itself were made. We now have a direct line to E2 Merchandise from each page, and an opportunity to donate to the Blockstackers Pizza and Caffeine Fund. We now 'earn' our next level, instead of 'reach' them, through our hard labour. A cute one-point box appears around the last /msg we sent (before this /msg was italicized. On some browsers, a dotted line appears). We can now send /msg's to other users straight from their home node, so we can tell them exactly what we think of their picture, motto, and Node-fu.
A new team has banded together, to fight cavities and bad breath in the mouth of the database. We've discovered out Patron Saint! ge2, a chatterbox client, has been around for a while, but now we have an online archive of the main room of the chatterbox. This has turned out to be particularly useful in tracking down what people are saying about you and your writeups when you are gone. The user most gossipped about? EDB.
The largest E2 gathering ever was looked forward to at the beginning of June; if ever there was a time when a disgruntled troll wanted to take out a core group of e2 talent, they just missed their chance.

Content Editors and Gods can uncool nodes. This is usually done to recool them, bringing them to the current Page of Cool, if they want people to renotice something. Everyone is curious about the ever famished EDB, and Bloom County is an excellent example of factual and anecdotal writing.
Sometimes, a node is just removed from the Page of Cool. Falling in love with fictional characters briefly appeared, then was pulled. Read it to see if you agree it should stay off the pages.
