One-time floating member of Rip, Rig, and Panic, her solo career has been much more commercial, coming in an era when hip-hop and funk are more mainstream than they were in the early 80s. "Buffalo Stance" may have been among the last music videos to be a video (i.e. not an elaborate film), and it was, like the CD, Raw Like Sushi. Pop that doesn't make you cringe. |
