Napo is a British Trades Union calling itself "The Trade Union and Professional Association for Family Court and Probation Staff" and represents nearly 7,000 probation and family court staff throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Although "Napo" itself stands for (or used to stand for) the National Association of Probation Officers; recent changes within the legal system within England and Wales led to the introduction of the concept of the Family Court and an expansion in the scope of the work carried out by the probation officer.
