My friend, while writing an English assignment on Catcher in the Rye, is also Instant Messaging several people. At one point she cuts a large portion of text out of her essay in the hopes of pasting it later on. Several minutes pass. Not thinking, she cuts and pastes another piece of text, this time out of an IM. Several more minutes pass. She has obtained the perfect set-up for that original piece of text. She holds down "control", hits "v"...
"By the end of the novel, Holden had established his dream as being a savior of the innocent - a catcher in the rye. In describing this vision, he says, 'hey, do you mind my asking...how long does it usually take to give him a blow job?'"
It's almost too bad she caught it before the teacher could see it. |
