| An alternative rock band consisting of John Wozniak (vocals, guitar) (not related to Steve Wozniak), Dylan Keefe (bass), and Dan Reiser (drums). Their most well known song is "Sex and Candy". The band is named after the playground outside John's school as a child, where he was terrified of daily beatings by neighborhood thugs. Most of their songs are smart and quite geeky. "A Cloak of Elvenkind" is about a boy who's mother doesn't approve of his obession with books of magic and other trappings of fantasy. And "Saint Joe on the School Bus" is about being teased and picked on on the ride to school. Opium is another common theme, but they claim to have never tried the stuff.
In 1991, John Wozniak recorded an amazing demo cd called Zog Bogbean.
The band's first commercial album was self titled and released in 1997.
