The Loebner Prize is an annual artificial intelligence competition a la the Turing Test. The most human-like program each year gets $2000. Any program to pass as human gets a gold medal and $100,000. Reading logs of past winners is mildly amusing. They are mostly somewhat better than Eliza or M-x doctor.
