1929 Novel by Jean Cocteau about a girl named Elisabeth and her twin brother Paul. One day Paul is injured in a snowball fight at school by a boy named Dargelos, who he has a crush on and Elisabeth begins taking care of him. One day Elisabeth brings home a girl named Agathe, who she has a crush on. Agathe just happens to look exactly like Dargelos. Paul and Agathe soon develop a relationship and the story is all about the tension between the two twins which builds and builds until a very tragic and beautiful ending.
