Leishman-Donovan bodies are small spheres found in the spleen and liver of patients with visceral leishmaniasis.

The spheres are an alternate, non-flagellated form of the parasitic protozoan Leishmania donovani which occur once the parasite has invaded the cells of the reticuloendothelial system in the patient's internal organs. The spheres are named after researchers Sir William Leishman and Charles Donovan.
