The Lehigh Valley is located in Eastern Pennsylvania near the New Jersey border. Its three major cities are Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton. Billy Joel made Allentown famous in one of his many songs. The Lehigh River flows through it and Lehigh University is its leading institute of higher education.
