"Layla tov" means "good night" in Hebrew.

While dating someone who spoke Hebrew as their primary language, I tried my best to learn a few words and phrases.

Unfortunately, I just couldn't master the clearing-your-throat noise, so many of the words I wanted to learn were impossible.

I have always thought that "layla tov" (lay-la tove) was the nicest sounding ... so it has become part of my vocabulary.
