An enormous lake surrounded by the countries of
Uganda,
Kenya,
Tanzania,
Malawi,
Zambia,
Zaire,
Burundi, and
Rwanda.
Its fish are particularly interesting, both as an example of natural evolution and
as an example how man can destroy wildlife directly (by fishing) and indirectly (by adding new species that destroy the existing ones).
