A large artificial reservoir located on Putah Creek north of San Francisco and west of Davis in the coastal range of California. This lake is used for boating and fishing, and supplies important water storage for agriculture to the east. Also located here is Quail Ridge Nature Preserve, on a peninsula at the east end of the lake.

To reach Lake Berryessa, use highway 128, west from Davis or highway 808 and east from Napa.
