A form of
Japanese Rope Bondage.
Kote kote shibari
(Wrist wrist tie) - The
wrist to wrist tie.
The purpose of this simple
rope bondage is to
restrict movement of the
arms by tying the wrists.
The usual form is where both arms are placed
behind the
back, with
elbows bent, so that the two wrists are in line, with one hand to the left, and one two the right. The wrists are then
bound together with several turns of
rope. Since the
blood vessels are very near the
surface here, regular checks should be made that the
circulation is ok.
Once the wrists have been tied together, they can be tied up, to the back of a
shinju or
karada pattern, so that the
forearms are
parallel with the floor.
This can be very
restrictive if tied to a
shinju which has been tied around the arms as well as the body.
