| Maverick man-of-sound and mainman of My Bloody Valentine. Not exactly known for prolific activity. Apparently Mr. Shields has spent large sections of the time since the last MBV release either eating, getting very stoned, or breeding certain types of dog.
Now Kevin Shields appears to have joined Primal Scream (who affectionately refer to him as Bagpuss), and made them worth listening to again. One can only hope that exposure to some kind of work ethic will spur on the progress of the next MBV album.
It could be worse though. Both Scott Walker and Kraftwerk fans have had to wait longer than MBV fans have for follow-up albums.... |
