Kennet R'yal Shardik, Vatare' ilye Pendoro. Architect of the ringworld Pendor and gengineer of the Pendorians, the sixteen or so sentient species native to it. Coimelin to P'nyssa Traken and Aaden Satpulov.

The title character of Elf Sternberg's massive science fiction erotica epic, "The Journal Entries of Kennet R'yal Shardik et al. and Related Tales".

According to Sternberg, Ken Shardik was not named after Shardik the bear, but rather after "Kidarsh", Sternberg's wizard character in a long-ago Dungeons & Dragons game.
