Kedrick James has studied oral poetries for sixteen years, touring through 24 countries around the world as a performing poet in venues throughout North America and parts of Europe. He has directed festivals of poetry and publishing, and has many years experience with independent multi-media production. His art explores choral poetry, sonic deconstruction, spoken improvising and the fusion of music / poem / image. He works as a teacher.
