She teaches creativity. Constantly running workshops that became the inspiration for the book The Artist's Way she realized that there are fundamental tools every person can use to not only be creative, but to start to find wholeness in life. These tools include morning pages and the artist's date. She is a recovering alcoholic, and addresses the impact of many different addictions and how they affect createive people.
