Judith Durham was the first celebrity I ever had a crush on. When I was 8 years old I would stare at the record covers of my parent's seekers albums and think about marrying Judith Durham. The photographer somehow captured a fabulous virginal splendour in those pictures of her conjuring thoughts of princesses and pillows.

Born in Melbourne in 1943, Judith Durham joined The Seekers as lead singer in 1964, and left in 1968. Durham plays Tambourine, piano and is a Vegetarian. The seekers re-formed in 1993.
