Imogen Heap is a British artist from Essex. Her first album, I Megaphone, was released in June of 1998. Imogen is an accomplished musician who plays the piano, clarinet, and cello. She displays an impressive vocal range with the songs "Come Here Boy" and "Shine". The lyrics on I Megaphone are sometimes awkward and raw, but still appropriate and welcome in the context of her music.

Imogen is often compared to Tori Amos and Alanis Morissette, but she stands in her own right as a young, elequent artist.
