If my job paid in beer

At the Harp Lager Brewery in Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland you do actually get paid in beer, sort of.

If you are an outside contractor, say for example, an engineer who has come in to fix a conveyer belt, for every two hours you work in the brewery, as well as your pay, you get a bottle of Harp Lager as you're leaving!

It's really good beer too. Whenever contract stuff for Harp came into in my old engineering company, me and my best friend would always be the first to volunteer!

Full-time employees of Harp are also allowed to bring home a case of 24 bottles or cans a week.
