I suspect that if anyone were to penetrate the intangible crystal walls, the room itself would shatter; I would be left defenseless under the burning sky. My power here is so intertwined with solitude that whatever breaches one cannot but ruin both. Do not ask me why I would welcome anyone to this holy place. Your coming here would undoubtedly violate every ounce of my privacy, but somehow I welcome you. Kill me it may; I want nothing more than to share this place with you. |
