I had a party for myself.
Everyone had a really crappy time.
We sat around all sad and broken,
Staring off into space,
Cutting off each other's sentences
Lapsing into mouth breathing awkwardness.
Someone picked his nose and wiped it on the couch.
A loud man peed himself then clunked into my jaw with a boozy wet rancid kiss
We broke bottles with our teeth,
Chewed glass until we all had wretched stomach cramps and bloody stools.
Everyone felt out of place.
No one danced.
No one hooked up.
The line for the john was hallway long.
There was hardly any smiling.
The bean dip gave everyone gas.
It went on for HOURS.
