What to do is not always obvious. It's not even obvious whether or not anything should be done at all. Quitting is one option. But is it ever the best option?
Life is hard, and it takes persistence and determination to get through the tough times and stay focused. That all of the pain, frustration, and sadness are worth it in the end is why we live. All things of beauty in the world result from this.
What kind of world would we live in if the caterpillars did no more than lightly scrape the insides of their cocoons and then quit; never putting forth the effort to free themselves and emerge with their beautiful wings each year? Or if the roses and morning glories decided that it took too much hard work for them to bloom?
You're like a beautiful butterfly or a wonderous flower. So fear not the future, because the future will always work out. Please don't quit because the world needs you.
