A now defunct ride, that was in Epcot. Sponsered by General Electric, they tried to show futuristic living conditions. From living under the sea, to in space they tried to give a realistic view of what could be. This ride became out-dated, because they were trying to view the 21st century, which we are now in. This pavillion is being re-done, and will be some space ride sponsered by Compaq.

An MMORPG (massively multiplayer online roleplaying game) in development by Artifact Entertainment (www.artifact-entertainment.com) and scheduled for release in 2002. Horizons: Empires of Istaria as is its full name, follows a fantasy theme, similar to other videogames of the genre, such as EverQuest, Ultima Online, and Asheron's Call. The player has the option to play as a human, elf, dwarf, dryad, angel, demon, orc, goblin, vampire, among other original races such as a ssslik, ku'lak, and lamurian. As the character, the game is played in the usual RPG fashion, with weapons, armor, magic, skills, etc. as one adventures in the vast world of Istaria and interacts with thousands of other players, monsters, and NPCs. For specific information on the game's design visit the official webpage at www.artifact-entertainment.com/horizons
